Easter 2013

Easter this year turned out to be much better than last  year, when I ended up in the hospital with septicemia and a kidney infection!  Needless to say, we didn't have much of an Easter last year!  Last night Adeline had so much fun coloring Easter eggs:

The eggs turned out to be really pretty and I'll certainly enjoy eating them!

This morning we got up around 9:00 AM and Adeline quickly found what the Easter Bunny left for her the previous evening:

It was a beautiful basket full of candy, Squinkies, an outfit for her Bratzilla doll and other pretty trinkets, all lovingly selected by two of the Easter Bunny's special helpers!

After Adeline looked through her basket, she got dressed up in her beautiful Easter dress and hat for Mass:

Mass was packed to the gills, but it was very nice.  We had to wait for a while in the parking lot for all of the cars to leave.

Once we got home, the Easter Egg Hunt commenced.  Here is Adeline hunting for the eggs that the Easter Bunny hid around the house:

Later on that day we had a very nice Easter dinner, which consisted of spiral sliced ham, macaroni and cheese, corn, brussels sprouts and broccoli:

Dinner was delicious!  I pray that we'll all be alive and healthy to celebrate another nice Easter in 2014!
